NovAtel has announced their next generation of series of GNSS receivers – the OEM7 Series. This next series will have five models ranging from the smallest OEM7600 (35 x 55 x 11 mm | 1.38 x 2.17 x 0.43 in) up to the OEM729 (60 x 100 x 9 mm | 2.36 x 3.94 x 0.35 in). The newest enclosure will be the rugged PwrPak7. This compact enclosure will offer scalable GNSS solutions with internal storage and INS options.

NovAtel Inc has announced the End Of Life (EOL) for Waypoint USB keys for GrafNav/GrafNet and Inertial Explorer software. This also affects PCS (Post Contractual Support) for USB keys. You can still purchase the Waypoint software with USB key until December 1, 2015.
After December 31 2015, USB keys will not be serviced or repaired; however, customers can continue to use them. USB keys will not be supported in future major releases of the GrafNav/GrafNet or Inertial Explorer software. Those currently with a Waypoint USB key will be able to convert their USB license to a FlexNet (keyless) version of the software.

NovAtel’s high vibration dual frequency GPS/GLONASS antenna is now available. The GPS-702-GG-HV features Pinwheel® technology to reduce multipath signals for better tracking.
This antenna is a similar form factor to the GPS-702-GG antenna with the additional robustness for high vibration applications. It meets MIL-STD-810G for vibration and salt spray. Available colors: Grey, desert tan, olive drab.

New builds of Waypoint Inertial Explorer®, GrafNav/Net®, GrafMov, and GrafNav Lite are available for download. This new version 8.30.2105 has been released to correct an issue with converting all Rinex data collected in 2011. It is highly recommended that everyone install the new build.
You can download via NovAtel’s 8.30 FTP site – ftp.waypoint.com (requires login). If you require the username and password please contact support@novatel.com with your four digit key number.
Patches for older versions of the software are available for download as well (back until v7.50), see http://www.novatel.com/support/firmware-software-and-manuals/firmware-software-updates/waypoint/##
The manufacturer files have also been updated with a new source for GPS almanacs. The previous source is no longer available. This is important for those who are using the Mission Planner. Please contact SLAinc with any questions.
