The SDR-CF DataBridge CompactFlash Recorder is now available through Steve Lieber & Associates, Inc. This small device allows you to record data from your GPS receiver onto CompactFlash media. This device is ideal for GPS hardware that lacks its own internal data recording capability.
Measuring 5 inches x 3.5 inches x 1.25 inches, it’s compact design is perfect for most applications. Configuration is done through a 9-pin com port on the back of the unit with a terminal program such as HyperTerminal, Procomm, etc. Data from the GPS receiver comes into the unit through another 9-pin com port. LEDs on the front of the unit indicate power, recording, data, and fault. A simple start/stop button on the front allows for quick logging control. The SDR-CF is powered by a 7-18 VDC power source that can be supplied by the included AC to DC converter or your own DC power source.
A starter kit version, SDR-CF-SK, is also available. This starter kit includes the DataBridge SDR-CF CompactFlash serial data recorder with 128 MB CompactFlash card, USB CF card reader, 120 VAC power supply, power cable, RS-232 cable and documentation.
An OEM version is also available for embedded applications. The OEM version, SDR-OEM-CF, gives you the freedom of integrating data logging into your own custom enclosure.
