{"id":123,"date":"2009-03-30T09:08:53","date_gmt":"2009-03-30T15:08:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/slainc.com\/news\/?p=123"},"modified":"2009-03-30T09:08:53","modified_gmt":"2009-03-30T15:08:53","slug":"oemv-firmware-version-3620","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/slainc.com\/news\/2009\/03\/30\/oemv-firmware-version-3620\/","title":{"rendered":"OEMV Firmware Version 3.620"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" title=\"NovAtel GNSS Logo\" src=\"\/images\/novatelLogo46x39.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"46\" height=\"39\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Firmware version 3.620 has been released for the OEMV Series of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) receivers.\u00a0 Improvements to OmniSTAR tracking for OEMV-1 and enhancements to GL1DE technology are just a couple of items included in the update.<\/p>\n<p>Reminder &#8211; All firmware updates now require <a href=\"\/news\/2009\/02\/13\/novatel-firmware-subscription-now-required\/\">NovAtel PCS<\/a> (Post Contractural Support) subscriptions.\u00a0 <a href=\"\/contactsla.htm\">Contact us<\/a> to inquire or purchase PCS subscription(s) for your NovAtel GPS receiver(s).<\/p>\n<h2><!--more-->What&#8217;s New in 3.620<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Corrected issue related to GLONASS operating frequency change<\/li>\n<li>After a reset, the previous almanac log is now immediately available.\u00a0 The only way to clear the almanac log is to use the FRESET command.\u00a0 This resolves an issue with the firmware version 3.50 in which the almanac did not survive a reset.<\/li>\n<li>In previous versions, the RTK solution might choose a satellite with high elevation and bad L2 as a reference. The RTK algorithm would assess the particular L2 signal as bad then it would exclude all L2 signals; i.e., it would use only L1 signals.
