FreeWave’s EZ Config has recently been replaced with the new Tool Suite.  FreeWave’s Tool Suite is a Graphical User Interface (GIU) that allows easy configuration, programming, and troubleshooting of your FreeWave wireless radios.  This free software utility is a great alternative to using a terminal program such as HyperTerminal for setting up your radios.  It allows for quick setup of several telemetry radios either by direct connection or over a radio network.

The FreeWave Tool Suite can be downloaded from the FreeWave website.  A customer login is required and can be requested from FreeWave.  If you do not wish to set up a customer account, you can contact SLAinc and request the software.

-IMPORTANT-

Some FreeWave wireless radio modems may require a firmware update in order to work with the Tool Suite.  Firmware can be obtained through the customer login section of FreeWave’s support section.  You can also contact SLAinc for firmware information or help.
