Novatel’s Waypoint 8.80 is now available. This new version includes Inertial Explorer, GrafNav/GrafNet, and Inertial Explorer Express. All Waypoint users with current PCS (Post Contractual Support) will be eligible for this new version.

Key New Features

• TerraStar-NRT option that provides high-rate precise satellite orbit and clock corrections for GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS systems. These are typically available within minutes for quicker workflow.
• Option to choose L1/L2 or L1/L5 frequencies for solutions.
• Better accuracy for pedestrian and vehicle applications
• 64-bit support for quicker processing

Processing

• ARTK has been updated to OM7Mx0400RN to ensure benefit from all improvements implemented in the real-time RTK engine
• Third frequency band (GPS L5, BeiDou B3, Galileo E5A, QZSS L5) can be used as replacement for GPS L2, BeiDou B2, Galileo, E5b, QZSS L2C
• Number of satellite supported increased to 40
• Some quality metrics are displayed when using Compute from PPP

GUI/Tools

• Local License Manager now stores the most recent five Activation IDs for easy recall.
• When setting base station positions using Favorites, the user can now specify the epoch to move the coordinates to
• Sky Plot handles up to 100 satellites
